Fall is
in the air?
Not yet, but it’s coming! |
|
Fred is nearing the half-way mark
on “Last of the Timucuans,” with twenty-two chapters ‘in the can’.
So far the story takes us from the Utinan village of Laguna
Oconee, to a horse ranch near Santa Fe, to Apalachee (Tallahassee)
to San Agustin (St. Augustine).
Meanwhile, returning from the 17th century, Fred has last-minute
research jaunts scheduled for Mission San Luis in Tallahassee to
double-check historic and archaeological facts, and St. Augustine,
where he will delve into 300-year-old letters and historic
documents.
